Tax / Real Estate

It was recently brought to our attention that there was a computer error in the printing of the 2016 Township TAX RECEIPT. The Tax Statements that were mailed on July 1, 2016 are correct, this only affects the taxpayers who paid their 2016 Township Real Estate Tax prior to July 22, 2016 and requested a copy of their TAX RECEIPT.

The Library Millage rate, Total Millage rate and tax amounts printed correctly, only the Township Millage printed incorrectly. The Township millage is stated as 4.265914, the rate is 5.2659144. Everything else on the Tax Receipt is correct and the tax was calculated properly. This is only on the TAX RECEIPT copy.

Please accept our apololgies for any inconveniences this may have caused. If you have any question or concerns please contact Lisa Riley, Tax Collector, at 412-276-5300 x278.
