Project D.U.M.P. and Glass Recycling Event


October 19th, 2019 at 9am will be a busy morning at Scott Park. We will have two events going that morning! Please see the events calendar for more details!

Pop-Up Details
PRC will host pop-up collection events where we will accept all colors of glass bottles and jars from the public. All events will use the following format:

Open from 9am – 2pm
All events on Saturdays
No cost to users
Accept all colors of glass bottles and jars
No window glass
No drinking glasses or stemware
No ceramics
PRC staff and volunteers will be on site to assist recyclers

Allegheny County Sheriff William Mullen’s office will be present so residents can bring unwanted, unused or expired medications that will be disposed of safely. Allegheny County Sheriff William Mullen recently implemented an initiative to help residents safely eliminate unused and expired narcotic medications. The Sheriff’s Office established this program to help curtail opioid and heroin related overdoses and overdose deaths in Allegheny County.
