Sewage bills are billed & collected within the tax office. For your convenience payments can be made at our drive-in window during regular working hours. A drop box is located to the left of the drive–in window for evening and weekend drop-offs.

ALCOSAN once again adjusted their sewage rates in 2024. ALCOSAN stated this change was needed to meet regulatory requirements to improve the efficiency of the sanitary system. The new rates became effective January 1st, 2024 in accordance with the 2017 ALCOSAN Resolution Fixing Sewer Rates.

ALCOSAN’s rates are made up of two different fees, a per-gallon rate and a customer service fee. The 2024 fees increased 73 cents, from $10.41 to $11.14 per thousand gallons used and the customer service fee increased by $1.53 from $21.88 to $23.41 per quarter. The effluent surcharges, commercial disposals, and auxiliary meters will remain the same.

Scott Township’s sewer fee remains the same as previous years at $3.00 per thousand gallons used.

ALCOSAN CHARGES FEE: $11.14/1000 GAL
SCOTT TWP SEWER FEE: $3.00/1000 GAL
