Authority for The Library Board of Directors
The Scott Township Public Library Board is composed of 5-7 appointed members. Each Library Board member is appointed by the Scott Township Commissioners.

Board Meetings
The Board meets 9-10 times each year and the meetings are open to the public.
The Library Board typically meets the 2nd Monday of the month at 6:30pm in the small meeting room of the Scott Township Municipal Building. All meeting dates are advertised on the library’s website at Scott Library
What does the Library Board do?
• The Library Board plays a key role in advocating & fundraising for the library.
• The Library Board assists with policy maintenance and development.
• The Library Board oversees the annual budget.
