Scott Township Snow Angels Program

Unfortunately we have received several requests for assistance but very few volunteers to assist. We have five residents asking for assistance:

Foxcroft Rd, Green Oak Lane, Greenbriar Dr, and Orchardview all in the Greentree Road area, and one request on Gregg Street in Glendale.

We do try to limit distance for volunteers, but we’ve had no volunteers within a few blocks of these residences.

If you or anyone you know if willing to assist with snow removal for these residents please use the snow angels page posted below.

For more information or to apply as a volunteer or for assistance, please visit our snow angels page!

New feature for landlords to pay fees added to website…

If you are a landlord or property manager in Scott Township and have annual tenant certification or change in occupancy inspection fees to be paid, you can now go to the Code Enforcement page and use a new link to make payment online, simple and easy! Simply go to the Code Enforcement Page and click on the payment link. You can create an account or checkout as a guest to make payment.

Sewer Billing Now with Jordan Tax Service

Jordan Tax Service, Inc. began Sanitary Sewer Billing Services in November 2024

Please pay special attention to the auto-draft information as you may need to update any banking you do:

Dear Customers,

Please be advised that beginning November 23, 2024, Jordan Tax Service, Inc. took over the billing collection for sanitary sewer rate payers of the Township of Scott. Payments will no longer be collected or accepted at Scott Township Municipal Building. A drop off only box (that serves the same purpose as a USPS mailbox) will remain at the Municipal Building for the convenience of the residents.

If you currently utilize Automatic ACH payment for the Township’s sewage billing, you will have to resubmit your banking and email information to Jordan Tax Service, Inc. after you receive your first bill from them. All customers will receive a paper bill from Jordan Tax Service, Inc. after January 15, 2025 offering several payment options. By enrolling online, you can enjoy the benefits of having an online account for your Township’s sanitary sewer bill, including no processing fees for online payments. Other advantages include a fully secure and flexible management of your payments, as well as 24/7 access to your account to view your online statement and payment history. After receiving your first bill, you will need your account number (located on your bill) and billing zip code to enroll, set up autodraft, and add the funding source. Please note that you will have to make a one-time payment for your current bill and authorize the autodraft for future bills.

If you currently have online bill payments through your bank, please notify your institution to revise the billing payment setup. YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER WILL BE DIFFERENT.
By partnering with Jordan Tax Service, Inc., (the Township’s Real Estate Tax Collector) and being able to provide a one-stop-shop for all your bill paying needs, the Township is able to keep sanitary sewer rates affordable while continuing to provide the level of service our residents and customers come to expect.

Thank you,

Scott Township
