DISPOSAL OF UNUSED MEDICATIONS PROPERLY

Allegheny County Sheriff William Mullen’s office will be present so residents can bring unwanted, unused or expired medications that will be disposed of safely. Allegheny County Sheriff William Mullen recently implemented an initiative to help residents safely eliminate unused and expired narcotic medications. The Sheriff’s Office established this program to help curtail opioid and heroin related overdoses and overdose deaths in Allegheny County.
